About

At the corner of Charleston’s King and George Streets stands The Quinte, a quaint 40-seat dining room that is perfect for private events.

Located off of George Street with a direct connection to the lobby of The Pinch Hotel, this sophisticated space is inspired by the mysteries of the sea, aquatic adventurers like Jacques Cousteau, Charleston’s deep naval history and the building’s original billiards hall past.

In 1918, The Quinte opened its doors on the edge of Charleston’s historic Ansonborough area. As a billiard and cigar parlor, the original Quinte was marketed as “Your Health Resort” and played host to stationed servicemen in the US Navy and Marine Corps, who battled in tournaments for the victors cup, dubbed “The Quinte.”
