EXPLORE LOWLAND
An upscale Southern tavern from Method Co. and James Beard Award-winning chef Jason Stanhope, Lowland is a picture of the evolving American South — where beef tartare and biscuits both have a home on the menu. Immerse yourself in the rich history and flavor of the Lowcountry when you dine at Lowland.
Our Rooms
Spanning two floors of the historic Lequeux-Williams home, Lowland's four distinct rooms invite every guest in for a beautiful meal, oysters and cocktails, or a private gathering. Explore Lowland and inquire below to plan a private event.
Bar Room
Upon entering Lowland, guests are greeted by an antiqued copper bar lit with custom bronze wall lanterns, alongside exposed rough sawn wooden beams, venetian damask wallpaper, and a restored wood-burning fireplace flanked by overstuffed leather armchairs.
Parlour Room
A few steps beyond the Tavern Room in the former carriage house, The Parlour Room features soaring 12-foot ceilings, original 12-pane windows framed by porcupine shades with sliding pocket doors, and hand-painted black and white geometric artwork on the floor.
Upstairs
Upstairs showcases a Spanish-moss inspired mural, hand painted by Dean Barger, and carefully curated local antiques and artwork. The atmosphere and menu are approachable and convivial.
The Quinte
Once a billiards room frequented by sailors, this moody space features hand-painted banners and lights, locally sourced antiques, and cozy built-in booths. A room with an atmosphere all its own, The Quinte is available for everyday dining and private event reservation.
